This website does not use cookies for advertising. We always store what is technically necessary for the site and the chat to work. Reach measurement with OpenPanel only runs if you agree in the cookie banner.
What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores for a website. Session storage (sessionStorage) and local storage (localStorage) work in a similar way.
Strictly necessary storage
These entries make the site work. The legal basis is § 25 (2) TDDDG; consent is not required for them.
- lv_consent (cookie, 6 months): stores your choice in the cookie banner so we don't ask again on every visit.
- lv-t (session storage, removed after use): remembers across a page change that the intro animation has already been shown.
- lv-lang (local storage, until you delete it): remembers the language you chose with the language switch. It is only set when you switch yourself. Until then we show the site in your browser's language (German, otherwise English); we only read that setting and do not store it.
- lv-a11y (local storage, until you delete it): remembers your choice in the accessibility panel (pause motion, more contrast, larger text). It is only set when you switch something on there yourself.
- Chat (Chatwoot): when the chat loads, Chatwoot stores a session identifier in your browser so a conversation survives page changes. The chat runs on our own server (helpdesk.levisteria.com).
- Booking (Cal.com): the calendar on the contact page runs on our own server (calendar.levisteria.com) and stores your selection there during booking.
Apart from lv_consent, lv-lang and lv-a11y, all entries end with the session or are not used to recognise you across visits.
Analytics only with consent
Reach measurement with OpenPanel only loads once you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner or switch analytics on in the settings. The legal basis is your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
OpenPanel does not set cookies. The identifier is created on our server and we do not store your IP address. Only for measurements that have not been sent yet does the script use one session storage entry (openpanel-pending-revenues), which ends with the session at the latest.
We do not use cookies from Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn or similar providers. Details are in the privacy policy.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent applies to the future. If you switch analytics off, the page reloads and stops measuring from then on.
Clearing browser storage
You can view and delete cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings. The website keeps working: the intro animation appears again, an ongoing chat starts over and the cookie banner asks for your choice again on your next visit. If you do not want the chat to load at all, block helpdesk.levisteria.com in your browser.
